Mr Jitendra Wankar is dedicated to improving societies and individuals quality of life by helping to optimise patient treatments around the world. Through his research and work in the development and evaluation of drug delivery,silica-based carrier systems and medical devices for instance,Jitendra has been awarded fellowships at numerous prestigious research institutions in Ireland, Italy and India.
Over the years, this exceptional scientist has been awarded a prestigious Marie Curie ITN Fellowship by the European Commission and has earnt a PhD and a Master’s degree. Jitendra regularly publishes and reviews international research papers in high impact pharmaceutical and biochemistry journals, and continues to nurture fellow scientists by guiding them in their own study projects.
Jitendra believes that his investigations could deliver new hope for those suffering with Alzheimer’s disease as well as individuals who have ailments such as gall bladder stones, cataracts and dysregulated cholesterol, amongst others. With this in mind, Jitendra may have the potential to create intellectual property value and scientific publications which can attract revenue and international funding.
